As we close out 2008 and head into 2009, I thought this was an interesting little tidbit:
Depression, according to Intrade, is defined as a cumulative decline in GDP of more than 10.0% over four consecutive quarters. With many economists looking for -5% to -6% GDP reading for 4Q08, its not that crazy. My how far we have come.
